02 Seal an address
Seal your Zcash address.
Bind a shielded Zcash address to your Solana wallet with one signature. It costs nothing, sends nothing, and you can change it any time.
- Paste a shielded Zcash address: a unified address
u1...with an Orchard receiver, or a Sapling addresszs1.... - Sign one sentence with your Solana wallet. Phantom, Solflare and Backpack all work.
- Your box gets its number. Every payout includes you while your wallet holds at least $20 of $schieldd.
A transparent address (t1... or t3...) is refused: a payout to it would be public, which is the one thing this is not. Signing again with another address moves your box to it, and the box keeps its number.
What you will sign
The wallet shows you this sentence, with your address and a one-time code in it. Signing it proves the wallet is yours. It is not a transaction and it cannot move anything.
schieldd: pay me at <your Zcash address>, <one-time code>
Wallets that give you a shielded address
- Zashi
- Ywallet
- Zingo
- Zcash full node (unified address)
Copy the address your wallet calls "shielded" or "unified". If it starts with t, it is the transparent one: look for the other.
