What it is
$schieldd is a coin on Solana. Its creator fees come back to the people who hold it, paid in ZEC, the coin of Zcash, and paid shielded: inside the part of Zcash that hides who sent what to whom.
Coins that pay their holders usually pay on Solana, where every payout shows the wallet and the amount. schieldd pays on the other chain, so the payout is private even though the coin is not.
The numbers
A payout, hop by hop
Who holds the money at each hop, from the creator fees to your Zcash wallet.
In words
- The creator fees of $schieldd are forwarded to the keeper wallet. Everything above its own small network float splits 70 / 20 / 10 the moment it lands.
- When the pot reaches 1 SOL, the keeper takes a snapshot of balances and keeps every sealed wallet holding at least $20 of $schieldd.
- It swaps the pot for native ZEC through NEAR Intents (1Click). The ZEC is delivered to the keeper's own Zcash wallet.
- The keeper shields it, then sends ONE Zcash transaction with one output per box, split by balance. Each output carries the memo
schieldd #n, where n is the payout number. - On Solana it writes one memo,
schieldd pay <n> <sol> <boxes>, so the payout can be found from this chain too.
Public and never public
Public, on purpose
- The payout number
- How much SOL went in, and the swap transaction
- How much ZEC came out
- How many boxes were paid
- The Zcash transaction id: an explorer shows it exists, not what is inside
- How many boxes are sealed
Never public
- Which wallet is sealed to which Zcash address
- Who was paid
- How much any one box received
- The list of sealed addresses, in any form
Who knows the link
The keeper does, and it has to: it is the thing that builds the payout. Every record is encrypted (AES-256-GCM) with a key that lives only in the keeper's environment, and it is stored under a name that is a keyed hash of the wallet, so the store holds neither a Solana address nor a Zcash address in the clear.
No page and no route on this site returns a record to anyone but the wallet that signed for it. That is the honest limit of the design: schieldd makes the payout private, not the keeper blind.
Zcash wallets that work
- A unified address with an Orchard receiver, starting
u1. Zashi, Ywallet, Zingo and the Zcash full node give you one. - A Sapling address, starting
zs1. Older wallets still use these. - A transparent address, starting
t1ort3, is refused. A payout to it would be public, which is the one thing schieldd exists not to do.
Your payout shows up in your Zcash wallet as an incoming amount with the memo schieldd #n. That figure lives in your wallet only.
The floor and the dust
A box is paid when its wallet holds at least $20 of $schieldd at the moment of the payout, read from the chain, not from a list anyone can edit. Sealing works before the launch and costs nothing, so you can seal first and buy later.
A share under 0.001 ZEC is not sent: it carries to the next payout, because a note that small costs more in fees than it is worth.
When the route is down
If the swap cannot be reached, the SOL waits in the pot and the wall says so. Nothing is forced through and nothing is paid twice: every step is written into the keeper's books before any money moves, and a swap that is refunded returns its SOL to the pot for the next try.
Creator fees and the keeper
The creator fees of $schieldd collect on the creator's wallet, as on every pump.fun coin, and are forwarded to the keeper wallet by hand. The site never claims they move by themselves. The keeper keeps a small float for network fees; everything above it splits 70 / 20 / 10.
The 10% for the work pays the swap fee (NEAR Intents takes a small fee per swap), Zcash network fees for shielding and for the payout, and hosting.
Where you are
Shielded Zcash is restricted or unavailable in some countries and on some exchanges. Check what applies to you before you seal a box. $schieldd is a meme coin with a working payout, not a financial product, and nothing here is advice.
